A new whale has emerged in the Shiba Inu ecosystem, who’s accumulated a massive amount of SHIB ahead of what seems to be an important week for the project.

Shiba Inu has attracted yet another whale in its ranks.
Data from the popular whale transaction tracking bot Whale Alert flagged the transfer on Aug. 13th.

The address accumulated close to 4.6 trillion SHIB, currently worth around $48 million.
This comes shortly after the ecosystem’s lead developer – Shytoshi Kusama – noted on Twitter that there are exclusive updates coming for LEASH.
LEASH is one of the three tokens from the Shiba Inu project.
The update to its utility is slated to be unveiled on Wednesday.
