CitiCash: Unblock the Blockchain for the People

New CryptoCurrency CitiCash offers to integrate fiat currency with cryptocurrency through their new people-centric currency and wallet

The digital age is often beset with peculiar options and alternatives to conventional services and products in the market. As for the financial industry, cryptocurrencies came with an offer to rehash the industry with newer, better and convenient forms of payments and transactions – one-upping the conventional paper and banking economy. However, most cryptocurrencies have failed to measure up to expectation. The bottlenecks and the seemingly confusing and limiting transition added to the woes cryptocurrencies presented to the regular junta.

As it stands, currently cryptocurrencies offer less functionality to their users by being limited in their use in the regular economy.

To address this predicament and to bring a sprite to the crypto market, CitiCash has presented a smarter alternative where even the less tech-savvy people would be able to use the currency in regular financial markets.

Based out of Czech Republic, CitiCash has provided a unique and simple user experience for everyone. The wallet is inspired from regular internet banking platforms – which of course have better utility and present a familiar sense of use to the customers. CitiCash has also integrated its wallet with regular debits cards to convert CitiCash into whichever fiat currency accepted by the vendor that is receiving payment. This functionality makes it easier to make payments in restaurants, retail stores, online retailers or other vendors, can be transacted via this debit card.

“The development of CitiCash took place from the start in order to remove obstacles around the currency’s use. All tools are therefore extremely simple and do not require any technical background from the users”, says Oldřich Šálek, Chief Technology Officer of Citi Lab Czech.

The pre-sale of CitiCash coins was launched on the 1st of September by the Citi Lab Czech.

For the troubled crypto market, CitiCash could offer a way out by allowing better utility and faster adoption. Add to that its use and efficiency in the market and you have a useful currency that could really change the playing field in finance.

For more information, you can visit their website or read through their whitepaper. You can also interact with the CitiCash team and community members directly through Facebook, Twitter, Telegram, and Reddit.
